Are your plates hand-made?

No, we manufacturer our gorgeous girls. Although, they are based off a handmade design and prototype. The gold trimmings are also hand painted on.

Are they dishwasher safe?

As much as washing dishes by hand is NOT cute, we recommend a soft cloth and gentle touch with our girls. Hand wash only to ensure the longevity of your new best friend.

For now we are shipping Australia-Wide & to our friendly neighbours New Zealand.

Can I put hot food on my plate?

Absolutely - they are fired at 780degrees so they can handle the heat. Perfect for warm nibbles!

Can I order bulk for wholesale?

We are still new to this, but if you email leeanne@thebitesociety.com.au with your requirements, I am sure we can sort something out!

Are they safe for kids?

Absolutely! They're made from food safe materials.

Yes - 100%! Our plates are made from lead-free, food-safe ceramic.

Can I put my plate in the fridge or freezer?

Totally. They're fridge and freezer safe. Perfect for keeping grapes frosty or chilling chocolate strawberries.

How will the plates be packaged?

Each plate will come carefully wrapped, boxed and cushioned for the journey. No boring brown cardboard vibes here - only Bite Society chic.
